For many years we ran a dog and cat rescue in California. After retiring to Colorado, we made room for bigger animals.
Today we rescue miniature horses (and full-size horses as space allows), plus barn cats, pigs, sheep, goats and chickens in need.
Rescue
We take in animals from neglect, auctions and owners who can no longer care for them.
Rehabilitate
Vet care, hoof care, good food and patience until they're healthy and happy.
Rehome
We match each animal with a caring, screened forever home.
Volunteer or foster
Help with chores, transport, events, or foster an animal at your place.
Falling Star Acres Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit — donations may be tax-deductible. Visits are by appointment only.
